About me

I’m a multidisciplinary designer with a strong foundation in service design and solid experience across UX and interaction design. I hold a Master’s degree in Design from AHO (The Oslo School of Architecture and Design), completed in January 2020.

As a designer, I’m motivated by understanding and shaping complex systems and services. I enjoy working closely with people to understand their context, needs, and everyday challenges, and translating this insight into clear, usable and visual solutions. I’m particularly drawn to early exploration and fast iteration, and I value prototyping as a way to test ideas in real situations and learn quickly from feedback.

Alongside my professional work, I enjoy making things in many forms — from textiles and woodworking to graphic and visual design. I’m comfortable moving between conceptual thinking and hands-on creation, and I adapt easily as projects and constraints evolve. I value collaboration, openness, and constructive dialogue, and I’m motivated by working on solutions that need to function reliably in real life.

Outside of work, I’ve played football for 10 years and beach volleyball for 3. I play piano and guitar, and I’m trained in working with military dogs. I’ve completed long-distance cycling trips across Europe, lived in Chile for half a year and in Taiwan for a year, and I enjoy spending time outdoors year-round. I have a strong interest in materials, textiles and history, and I know Oslo’s forests well.

Work experience

UX /Service designer - ÆRA Strategic Innovation - 2020 -

  • Worked with companies through strategy and innovation processes by organising workshops, and translating insights into ideas and concepts. 

  • Developing brands and brand structures, including logos, visuals and text.

  • Working with developing business operations and services through user interviews, user journey mapping and value chain mapping. 

  • Worked as a consultant and a service designer for 3 years. 

Service/ interaction designer - Repairable AS - 2019

  • Conducted user testing, identified primary needs, developed a new service blueprint.

  • Designed all primary screens for new ordering web page, collaborated with developers on website implementation.

Product/ service designer - K8 Industridesign - 08. 2016 - 03. 2017

  • Mapped Oslo’s recycling system, identified sustainable materials for packaging dairy products.

  • Did product sketches on several product design projects, including a lamp and medical equipment.

  • Led the company’s submission to a cycle hotel competition and was awarded an Honourable Mention.
